Angela and Ben – Frogg Manor Cheshire
Angela and Ben’s wedding marked the start of a busy week for me, 4 weddings in 7 days. Tiring stuff but I wouldn’t change it 🙂 The lovely wedding venue was at the self proclaimed ‘unashamedly bourgeois, eccentric, original & quintessentially English’ Frogg Manor in the heart of Cheshire. A wonderful setting for an outdoor English wedding and a spot of croquet (which was one of the outdoor games enjoyed by the guests at the reception).
As usual, I started my wedding documentation in the morning with Angela as she prepared for the big day in a spectacular suite at Frogg Manor. Unfortunately the English summer was playing its usual part and Angela watched on through the window as Ben helped organise the set up of the outdoor ceremony in the rain. The gorgeous wedding dress was hand-made by Angelas Mum – how amazing!
Luckily the rain subsided as Angela walked down the red carpet to an emotional Ben – but I don’t think either would have noticed if it was snowing, as at this point their attention was definitely focussed on each other. A beautiful ceremony was held under the garden pavilion, and just in time for the “I do” the rain cleared!
Angela and Ben then enjoyed some time together on a short horse and cartridge ride after the ceremony, whilst the guests tucked into fruit punch and played lawn games – perfect fun to capture in my documentary style!
The evening celebrations saw casino games for all, with Roulette and Blackjack tables…this was topped off with a performance by the extremely talented Soweto Kinch, who along with an equally excellent drummer and basist, performed jazz fused with hip-hop. Ben is a musician himself and obviously wanted the best music for the wedding…and it was amazing, do check out his website!
It was a great day, and a pleasure to document! More images can be found on my facebook page, family and friends can view all the images from the day here. Please feel free to leave a comment, or get in touch if your looking for a documentary wedding photographer in Cheshire.

great pics as always, right up my street, really great pics and post production, what a lovely day 🙂
Lovely images Adam, full of fun. The pic of the little girl asleep in the pram with just the legs poking out -made me laugh out loud 🙂
Beautiful stuff as always Adam.
Some beautiful shots there Adam. Some wonderful tender moments and a lot of laughter. Well done.
Coool stuff, this wedding looks so much fun! Loving the jenga shot, great capture 🙂
One of the best sets of documentary wedding coverage I’ve seen all year. Some great moments captured; fantastic compositions. The balance between bw and colour work is also spot on, in my view.
Thanks guys 🙂 Was a really fun wedding!
