“We absolutely adore the photos – they have brought back all our happy memories and also really helped us to remember specific moments. It is so amazing that you have captured so much in such a short period of time, and that for the vast majority of the shots we didn’t know you were even there! ……Thank you again!! Thank you thank you thank you!!”
Around a month before the big day, Jan (Steph’s mum) contacted me to see if I was available for Steph and Ed’s wedding at the stunning Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire. Jan persuaded Steph and Ed that wedding photography does not have to be a series of posed images. Luckily I was available and Steph and Ed booked me to capture the story of the day 🙂
When I arrived in the morning the reception room was being filled with china teacups and plates. Steph and Ed had asked all their guests to source them during the previous year – and it was great to see everyones contributions on offer 🙂 Steph and her sister were preparing in one of the rooms at Sandhole, so I was able to nip between here and the main barn as Ed welcomed the guests. The wedding was super fun and relaxed, with a very emotional ceremony, and the rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits!
Some of my favourite shots from this Sandhole Oak Barn wedding are below. Finally, some more kind words I received from Steph and Ed a couple of weeks after sending them the photos…
“We can not stop looking through the wedding photos – they are just amazing! We are still seeing little details and things going on in the background that we didn’t initially notice, it is brilliant!”
If you are getting married at Sandhole Oak Barn, or the Cheshire area, please don’t hesitate to contact me about documenting your day.
