I was really pleased when Catherine and Chris asked me to be part of their big day, and what a day it was!  Catherine and her bridesmaids had been up and about early, getting hair and makeup done at the hairdressers. I joined them at Catherine’s parents as the excitement was really building 🙂

I met Chris and the guys at Church, where they he was eagerly awaiting his bride. Catherine arrived looking beautiful, and a touching ceremony followed. Hugs and handshakes outside the church preceded the drive to Mitton Hall in Lancashire. Upon arrival guests were able to enjoy drinks and canapés outside overlooking the Ribble Valley, one of the most spectacular areas in the UK.

It has been a difficult few days in the lead up to the wedding, as Catherine’s Nana (who had bought her dress and many other things for the wedding), sadly passed away. It was clear to see how much she meant to the family, and there were many touching words about her during the speeches.

Onto the evening party, and the dancefloor was bouncing! I got in close to the action with my camera, rounding off my coverage of the day! This was my first Mitton Hall wedding.  It is a stunning venue and I can honestly say, the staff here are amongst the nicest I have had the pleasure to work with – and the food is amazing too!
