Cripps Barn Wedding Photographer

This September saw me at the beautiful Cripps Barn in Gloucestershire for the wedding of Leanne and Callum. I often travel around the UK documenting weddings and this is something I really enjoy, especially when the weather is as good as it was for this amazing day!

Leanne and Callum wanted their day to be fun and relaxed, and it certainly was, with everyone obviously enjoying every minute of it! I started the day in Bristol – Leanne was getting ready at home with her mum and Bridesmaids. A couple of glasses of Gin had been had the night before by Leanne and all her friends, but preparations were in full swing when I arrived in the morning, with no signs of sore heads 🙂

Leanne, her parents and bridesmaids made the drive to Cripps Barn in a couple of fabulous Morris Minors – spectacular scenery during this journey, but don’t ask how I got the photo of the car. I proceeded to document the ceremony and Reception, all the way until the bonfire and sparklers at the end of the night, what a lovely couple, and a lovely day!

Before the photos, I’ll leave you with some very kind words sent to me from Leanne and Callum, very much appreciated by me!

“Thank you so much for the photos-they are incredible and we just can’t stop looking at them; The perfect reminder of a wonderful day! You truely managed to capture the moment, every moment and it was great to be able to ‘see’ all of the bits that we missed on the day.”

“Everyone we have spoken to has only been able to praise you for being so discreet (even in our tiny house!)…..The moments that you managed to capture were way beyond what we thought possible and documented the day in such an intimate and perfect manner, a reminder of what a fantastic day we had. Thank you!”

  1. For once Adam, I’m drawn to your colour work more in this post. The palette you’re working with is subtle and beautiful. Of course, you’ve captured some lovely moments throughout the day, as usual.

  2. Some fabulous wedding photography again here Adam – Cripps has some tricky lighting to deal with, and you’ve managed to capture it really well. Particularly like the unusual compositions of the bridal prep shots, and the high contrast in some of your b&w work.

  3. Lovely documenatry coverage. Bridal preps stand out some great wide and tele work in there as well as high contrast images. I like also the shot of the car in the country lane! Bet the couple are happy with them! Best, Alexis

  4. I love the vibrancy and colour in these, the sparkler shots are brilliant. Love the way you have captured the different aspects of lights throughout the day. Great work.
