Sam and Matt

Sam and Matt’s wedding was amazing, it had everything.  Beautiful setting, homemade cocktails, live music, wonderful food, impromptu singing, shining sun, spectacular fireworks, and a lovely, lovely bride and groom :-).

I started the morning by heading to Hampton Manor in the West Midlands, where Ava Event Styling were busy putting the finishing touches to the wedding, and stunning it was! Also on hand was the amazing Julie from The Wedding Genie. Julie is an expert wedding planner, and we had been in touch regularly as the big day approached so it was great to finally meet!

A super calm atmosphere greeted me when I arrived at Sam’s parents to document the morning preparations, which Sam and her mum attributed to The Wedding Genie taking all the pressure off them :). After an hour or so, I headed off to Hampton Manor, where Matt was having a quick beer and awaiting his bride.

A lovely ceremony at Hampton Manor was followed by unique “jonsey” cocktails, and some yummy canapés. Live music was provided by The Acoustic as the guests all enjoyed the wonderful weather.

Some fab speeches took place before the meal, and after dessert was wrapped up, everyone was surprised by the appearance of the “chef”, who along with a waitress, burst into song! Little did Sam (or any of the guests) know that the chef/waitress were impostors hired by Matt to get everyone singing and having a good time :).

In the evening Sam and Matt were joined on the dancefloor by all their friends and family for the first dance, and the party really began. Just before I headed back north to Cheshire, all the guests gathered outside to watch a spectacular fireworks display – what a great way to finish the day!
