“Adam, you are a goddamn genius. Will write more when this has soaked in.Unbelievable… Genuinely blown away.”
Gemma and Paul’s summer wedding at Meols Hall took me to Southport and a day filled with fun and laughter. On a perfect Summer’s morning I arrived at a seafront hotel where Gemma and the girls were getting ready for the day. As the morning progressed I captured images of the girls preparing. Gemma was getting more and more excited, but also a little nervous. A sneaky gin helped to steady the nerves!
After documenting some of the build up and anticipation of the girls, I headed to Meols Hall to find Paul awaiting his wife-to-be (with the same mix of nerves and excitement). The Tithe Barn looked gorgeous for the ceremony and guests mingled in the courtyard before heading indoors to await the arrival of Gemma and her Bridesmaids.
After a beautiful ceremony, everyone headed outside once again to make the most of the weather. Even after the wedding breakfast, adults and kids alike were found playing party games on Meols Hall courtyard until darkness finally fell. Then it was time to hit the dance floor!
Paul and Gemma are a totally genuine and awesome couple. Surrounded by their close friends and family, the pair couldn’t stop smiling all day and night. It was a pleasure to document their day for them. A snipet of my favourite images below…
After the speeches Gemma presented her new hubby with a guitar as a wedding present! Paul ignored chants for a quick number, promising to do so later in the evening….but I think this was forgotten amidst all the dancing 🙂
Great images Adam, the car shot with dad is a cracking one. Like them all!
Thanks Martin 🙂
