Dunham Massey is a magnificent National Trust Park in the heart of Cheshire. If you are looking for a stunning backdrop for your wedding day, then this venue could be for you. You will need to host your ceremony at a separate venue (i.e Church) as the park is busy with visitors during the morning and early afternoon. But from the afternoon it is possible to have private use of the formal gardens, with views over the lake and Edwardian Manor House. The options at Dunham for weddings do change, so contact the property for the latest details on venue hire.
With lots of history, the present hall was initially built in 1616. The hall itself, the stables, and the carriage house of Dunham Massey are all Grade I listed buildings.
I shot the wedding Michelle and Mike’s wedding at Dunham Massey during a beautiful summer – enjoying the spectacular grounds, it was an amazing day. You can also view some images and a slideshow video of the day below.
