Hoghton Tower

Hoghton Tower is a stunning North west wedding venue in the heart of Lancashire and one I love photographing at. An ancient fortified manor house, it takes your breath away as you approach the building via the spectacularly long driveway. With log fires and immaculately landscaped gardens, it is perfect for both summer and winter weddings.

Visited by King James I, William Shakespeare, J.M.W. Turner and Charles Dickens, it is a wedding venue steeped in history, with character in every corner. In recent years it’s featured on the screen as a backdrop for hit tv show Peaky Blinders (as has Cheshire venue Arley Hall) and Life on Mars

For wedding receptions, and ceremonies, the grand hall is a spectacular venue for your wedding breakfast. The Tudor Gardens, Wilderness Lawn and Rose Garden with ornate stone fountain provide a perfect backdrop for your dap. Clipped yews lead to the ramparts, castellated walls and fairytale turret with commanding views across Lancashire, the Lake District and North Wales.

“It is quite difficult to describe within a short review quite how good Adam really is. He is affable, professional, hard-working and above all a fantastic photographer and a genuinely nice guy…..On the wedding day Adam was always in the right place at the right time and the images he captured are unbelievable. They perfectly preserve our wonderful memories from the day and we will both cherish and share the photographs forever.”
