Owen House Barn is a rustic, bespoke wedding venue in Mobberley, Cheshire. Just 20 minutes from my Manchester home, I have had the pleasure of being a Owen house wedding barn photographer on many occasions.
It’s beautiful countryside setting matches perfectly with the charm of this converted barn. Expanded over the years to include an amazing hidden room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, a guys prep room complete with table football and barber style chairs, and accommodation on site for your nearest and dearest guests.
With Manchester airport just a short distance away, transport links and local accommodation are excellent.

“Thanks so much Adam. We just went through them going, “oh THAT one is amazing… oh, ok THAT one is amazing…. I think THAT’S my favourite… etc” for image after image. What an eye you have!…..They’re even more amazing than we imagined, and we knew they’d be incredible.”

The Ceremony
The beautiful ceremony room, hidden away at the back of the barn, is adorned with fairly lights, panelled in rustic wood and metal and provides a romantic and intimate setting for your wedding ceremony. With seating for 120 guests, and room for 30 standing, its the ideal place to say I do!

The preparations
The beauty shed, hidden behind the ceremony room is the ideal place for the girls to get ready in the morning. With plenty for chairs and lighting, it has the added benefit of a covered walk to the ceremony room and is out of sight of guests.

The guys
The aptly named “Baa-BER Shed” is just across the car park from the barn. A space to allow the guys to get showered and dressed for the occasion. With luxury barbers chairs, 40” screen and of course, a beer fridge and table football!

The barn
The barn itself is such a huge space, with natural light via the roof windows and wood panelling providing a warm, welcoming space. It is the perfect setting for your reception and wedding breakfast.

Groups and portraits
An outdoor covered area next to the ceremony room is filled with hay bales and flooded with natural light. It provides the perfect backdrop for group shots if its raining, a feature missing from many wedding venues!
There is also a purpose built hidden room, the “shooting gallery”. This space is designed as a photography studio for couples.
