Peak District Wedding Photography // Priscilla + Duncan
“They are amazing! They really capture the atmosphere of the day”
I love the Peak District, it’s one of our family favourite destinations for a good dog walk and oversized pub lunch. When Duncan and Priscilla asked me to shoot their wedding there, I was excited to say the least.
Duncan, Priscilla and their families certainly took things to the next level. Utilising Priscilla’s parents stunning house (which they had only just moved into), it was the perfect location for the celebrations with breathtaking views over the Peaks. Priscilla certainly has an artistic touch, handcrafting jewellery gifts for the bridesmaids, designing the pattern of her wedding dress and with help of mum creating a spectacular Japanese style wedding cake!
Such a laid back couple, this was reflected in the day. After the service at the local church everyone headed to the house for homemade food and cakes (I may have tested a couple of chocolate eclairs), drinks and chatting whilst enjoying the views. The English showers stopped no one….the cake even had its own umbrella courtesy of the bridesmaids 🙂
It was an absolute pleasure to capture the day for Priscilla and Duncan. They loved every minute of the day, living in the moment with friends and family. As always some of my favourite frames below…
