Peckforton Castle Wedding : Ashleigh + Matt

Oh Adam…. I have just watched the slideshow against all your advice as I won’t see matt until 8pm, and I couldn’t wait!!! So amazing

We’re having a heatwave in the UK, now us British are complaining it’s too hot! Not me though, I’m sat in my garden writing this blog post (self employment most definitely has its perks!) and thinking back to Ash and Matt’s awesome Peckforton Castle wedding on a slightly cooler November 5th. Ash and Matt live in London, but it was a local affair for Ashleigh’s family, living in Tarporley, the stunning castle defines the skyline and was the perfect location for the big day.

Ashleigh and the girls prepared at the gatehouse lodge,  the boys  in the main castle building. I documented the build up for both, and saw first hand just  how relaxed both Ash and Matt were, enjoying the morning anticipation with friends and family. My photography is all about finding moments, capturing emotion and most importantly, storytelling. I’m lucky enough that all my couples trust me to encapsulate the story of their day whilst they have the time of their lives. Ash and Matt were no exception, enjoying every single second of the day. A gorgeous ceremony took place in the great hall, light streaming through the windows, and it was mild enough for guests to spend some time outside the castle enjoying the gorgeous surroundings. Sambuca shots made an appearance shortly after the speeches, and the party really kicked off when Ash and Matt took to the dancefloor for a spectacular first dance.
