Sandhole Oak Barn Summer Wedding: Amy + Eduard
“The photos are amazing!! We love them so much and are so grateful! We looked at them with family and everyone agreed!”
From my first meeting with Amy and Eduard, I knew their Sandhole Oak Barn Summer Wedding was going to be something special. The energy and enthusiasm they both exuded was infectious. The attention to detail and the time and thought that had gone into planning the day was clear to see, all to ensure that the day itself flowed smoothly and was as enjoyable as possible for the happy couple and their guests.
Amy teaches yoga but prior to this was a dancer before she was side-lined by injury. Eduard on the other hand has no dance experience whatsoever. Cue an intense 6 month training period for Eduard (I like to imagine a nice 80s style training montage complete with leg warmers) for the wedding guests to be wowed with a surprise wedding day dance routine from Dirty Dancing, complete with full lift! (so i guess my 80s style montage should be replaced with lots of dancing back and forth on a log and frolicking in water). It was a hit!
In between the last minute dance training, there was also the flower arrangements to make, handwritten vows to prepare as well as individual speeches for both the bride and groom. The result was a stunning floral archway where the couple exchanged their own heartfelt vows on the day and speeches that left many in tears. The guests had travelled from various parts of the world (as Amy’s family is Canadian and Eduard’s from Spain) were treated to a truly personal and magical day. As for the happy couple, they enjoyed every single minute of it 🙂
