Victoria + Rob
Victoria and Rob’s super chilled-out wedding took place at the beautiful Owen House Barn in Mobberley. Although not far from me in Cheshire, I’d not had the privilege of shooting here before and couldn’t wait to visit for my first Owen House Wedding. Come the wedding day, I was treated to one of my favourite’s of 2015, From capturing a very relaxed Victoria and the girls in the morning, through to The Dead Beats rocking the barn at the end of the night, it was a day filled with entirely lovely people enjoying every minute.
The cosy ceremony room at the barn was adorned with fairy lights and made for a beautiful setting. Rob was waiting for his bride alongside James, his best man. James was certainly keeping Rob on his toes whilst he waited nervously! Lawn games waited at the front of the barn after the I-do’s were complete and everyone enjoyed the rare Cheshire sunshine with canapés and drinks. I’ve been fortunate to see many great magicians at weddings, this was the first time I’d witnessed the talented Matt Windsor in action. I won’t give anything away, but he entertained everyone with his sleight of hand and pickpocketing tricks. Unbelievable….do check him out!
Rob is a massive food fan (I”m often drooling at his food images over on twitter) All the guests (and me!) throughly enjoyed the slap up meal laid on for the wedding breakfast. After some touching speeches, the Dead Beats set up shop whilst the guests enjoyed a little more relaxing and drinking. Then the evening party began, and what a celebration it was!
