Nunsmere Hall Winter Wedding
I’d met Jane and John a couple of times before their Nunsmere Hall Winter Wedding. Jane’s mum literally lives around the corner from our house and I also got to meet their cute cockapoo Charlie when they were visiting (our dog Quorra loved him!). A super relaxed couple, I knew their Christmas wedding was going to be an amazing day, I wasn’t wrong!
After a bit of a postage issue the day before, the wedding day stationary had finally arrived in Cheshire (after being sent to Aberdeen the day before by mistake!). When I arrived at Nunsmere in the morning, Jane was chilled and ready for the big day. After documenting the girls getting ready, I headed off to St Thomas Church in Warrington. John greeted guests, inside Mary and the rest of the nativity scene were joined by a string quartet (spot the photo to see what I’m on about!). A gorgeous ceremony took place before we all headed back to Nunsmere hall for the reception.
Less than a week before Christmas, the wedding had a very festive feel. Both mums had spent months knitting favours for all the guests – figures from the 12 days of Christmas song….Five gold rings! During the speeches everyone got into the spirit and sang the song, proudly displaying their favours when required :-).
The evening was kicked off by Gillan Edgar Band, and what a party it was! Later, guests were surprised by a stunning Nunsmere Hall fireworks display – a perfect end to the day, and to my 2015 wedding season 🙂
A huge thanks to Jane and John for having me along, it was an absolute blast! Some of my favourite storytelling images below…
“Adam! They are absolutely FANTASTIC!!! We couldn’t have wished for any better photos of the day. We can’t thank you enough! “ Jane + John
