Adam! They are absolutely FANTASTIC!!! We couldn’t have wished for any better photos of the day. We can’t thank you enough!
I’d met Jane and John a couple of times before the big day. Jane’s mum literally lives around the corner from our house and I also got to meet their cute cockapoo Charlie when they were visiting (our dog Quorra loved him!). A super relaxed couple, I knew their Christmas Nunsmere Hall wedding was going to be an amazing day, I wasn’t wrong!
After a bit of a postage issue the day before, the wedding day stationary had finally arrived in Cheshire (after being sent to Aberdeen the day before by mistake!). When I arrived at Nunsmere in the morning, Jane was chilled and ready for the big day. After documenting the girls getting ready, I headed off to St Thomas Church in Warrington. John greeted guests, inside Mary and the rest of the nativity scene were joined by a string quartet (spot the photo to see what I’m on about!). A gorgeous ceremony took place before we all headed back to Nunsmere hall for the reception.
Less than a week before Christmas, the wedding had a very festive feel. Both mums had spent months knitting favours for all the guests – figures from the 12 days of Christmas song….Five gold rings! During the speeches everyone got into the spirit and sang the song, proudly displaying their favours when required :-).
The evening was kicked off by Gillan Edgar Band, and what a party it was! Later, guests were surprised by a stunning fireworks display over the hall – a perfect end to the day, and my 2015 wedding season 🙂
A huge thanks to Jane and John for having me along, it was an absolute blast! Some of my favourite storytelling images below…
