Chloe and Phil’s wedding took place in a lovely Tipi at Trafford Hall in Cheshire. They were really keen for me to just do my thing – letting them get on with enjoying themselves whilst I clicked away, perfect! When I arrived in the morning, the girls were all getting ready upstairs in the Hall. Many guests were also staying at the amazing eco-lodges on site, the place was buzzing with excitement.
I joined Phil and the guests on a big red double decker bus as we headed to the historic Chester town hall. A beautiful setting for the ceremony. Afterwards everyone had chance to admire the grand surroundings accompanied by canapés and drinks.
Chloe and Phil jumped in the Rolls, and the rest of us back to Trafford Hall on the big red bus (I never tire of heading up to the top deck!). The glorious sunshine was in stark contrast to the day before, most of the wedding party had been mopping heavy rain water out of the tipi….you would never have known! Lots of time and effort had obviously been spent on dressing the Hall and tipi, and both looked amazing.
One of Phil’s ushers was on the his decks for the evening celebrations. Phil giggled his was through the first dance. I’m not sure if he knew what was coming, but towards the end of the song Chloe’s Dad invaded the dancefloor – the most awesome daughter/Dad dance off then took place!…Chloe later told me this is something she does with her Dad on christmas day (after a few sherries I guess!).
Thanks to Emyr and the team at Trafford Hall, they were awesome (I’m not just saying that because they pilled me with awesome BBQ food in the evening)….and of course, thanks for having me along Chloe and Phil – an epic day!
