My wedding Photos: 2018
I thought I’d kick off my first 2019 blog post with my “best of 2018”. Despite the fact I haven’t actually blogged any 2018 weddings yet, but that will come in time.
So, 2018. Probably my busiest wedding year to date, coupled with lots of house renovation and DIY (as anyone following my Instagram stories may have noticed!) I have been non – stop. I’m now looking forward to a couple of months relaxing with the family before the 2019 season kicks off 🙂
I had this post whittled down to 406 images, but even I thought that was too many “favourite frames” to share. So in an effort to reduce numbers, I decided to focus on the types of photographs I really enjoy taking, and that are more reflective of my street photography work. Many don’t feature bride and grooms, but all feature people and stories. Unposed moments that made me laugh, and images that bring back an emotional response. This is what photography is about for me. I have many more I could share, candid moments between B&G’s, beautiful light and interesting compositions, I will share these in blog posts as the year goes on.
Noah asked me yesterday if I had a job (they have been learning about jobs at school!). Maybe a cliché in the photography area, but I don’t ever feel like grabbing my camera and heading to capture stories as “work” (although some of the admin / marketing does!). A huge thank you to every single couple that allowed me to capture their day. I loved every single one.
Here are some of my favourite frames of 2018. I don’t stage moments, these are all documentary images…
Beautiful Images, love your style
Thanks David, much appreciated

Everytime I see your work, I always think ‘damn, I wish I had your eye’ but it’s a god given talent that’s given only to a selected few and your one of them.

Story-teller (not sure about that term but basically is the only true articulation for what I feel!) extraordinaire. These are so good Adam, I have absolutely no idea how you can think this fast to capture these, I’m so inspired by you. Nailed it.
Thanks so much Claudia, really kind!
