I photograph weddings for laid-back couples who are all about celebrating big and being fully present on their day. Most of my clients aren’t huge fans of being in front of the camera—and they definitely don’t want to spend hours posing. My style is all about capturing the real moments, with minimal fuss and maximum fun.
My wedding photography is all about storytelling. I capture wedding day memories forever. From big moments to cherish to the small details you miss. I don’t want your day to be influenced by me, it’s your story. Shooting instinctively, I use my years of experience to anticipate moments and get unique photographs.
I also love shooting film, and regularly capture 35mm analogue frames on my Leica M6, alongside my digital coverage.
For me, weddings provide the perfect opportunity to capture the LOVE. BUT ALSO, THE unusual, funny, weird and real moments
I have photographed at the best wedding venues in Manchester, across the North West and UK. I’ve captured wedding stories in Europe for numerous destination weddings. I’ve have shot small intimate weddings and huge multi-day celebrations. I document stories and personalities. I capture the memories you don’t ever want to forget.

About me
A Manchester wedding photographer. I have been travelling the UK and beyond shooting weddings full-time for over 13 years.
I live with my wife Laura, our boys Noah + Lev and our fluffball of a dog Quorra. We can often be found on dog walks, with kids running wild and Quorra covered in mud!
When I’m not shooting weddings or playing with the kids. I love cycling, going to gigs and family camping trips.

When Laura and I got married, we wanted to spend time with our family and friends. Dancing, eating, drinking, more dancing. It’s what I think weddings should be about. Documentary wedding photography is designed to allow you to do that.
Your wedding day will be non-directed, with an unobtrusive reportage approach. I capture the hugs, looks and love, but also the crazy moments that happen in a flash, or those things you miss. I document the story of your day. A story for you to tell for generations to come.
I won’t ask you to pretend to put on earrings or fake laughter. I don’t hang your dress on a tree.
