A Farington Lodge Wedding
A week after my amazing trip to Vietnam, and it was back to “the day job”. I never have that dreaded “back to work” feeling after I holiday. It’s actually the opposite, I couldn’t wait to shoot Carly and Rick’s Farington Lodge Wedding! I love my job, getting to document the happiest day of peoples lives 🙂
So attired in my new tailored suit from Vietnam, I headed to Belmont near Bolton to start the day capturing Carly, her bridesmaids, brother and parents preparing for the big day! Carly’s two cats were banned from the house for the morning, to ensure they did not try to eat the flowers or climb the dress – but they kept a close eye as Carly sat by the window for her hair and makeup 🙂
Carly and Rick were married 7 years to the day they met. They married at Belmont Church, a lovely picturesque venue just a few minutes drive from their house. Carly’s dad looked super proud as he walked his daughter down the aisle, and Rick composed himself quite well for the arrival of his bride. After a lovely ceremony, we all headed to Farington Lodge in Lancashire where the celebrations continued well into the night.

Really nice set Adam – particularly enjoyed the bridal prep and speech shots. Some nice moments and compositions. Vietnam obviously did the trick!

Lovely images all around Adam, really nice work. Liking in particular the bridal preparations shots – very classy!
Lovely set Adam, and again, the thing that strikes me about your work, is the fact that your clients are completely oblivious to your presence, despite your closeness. Pure skill. The stand out shot for me is the larger first dance picture, lovely tones and colour, just like a sunset. I’m also taken by the next one, just because of the lipstick on the grooms cheek. Classic. Trying to visualise what your bespoke suit looks like too 😉
