Marylebone Town Hall Wedding : Alina + Adel

I’ve shot many a Marylebone Town Hall Wedding. However, as a northerner, London weddings are always so different. Huge famous venues, historic churches and cosy pub’s all set amongst an iconic backdrop. I always love heading down to the big smoke for street photography, and shooting a wedding there – perfect!

My day started with shooting Alina and the girls getting themselves ready at home, such a relaxed atmosphere, full of fun, and setting the scene for the day! A short taxi ride and the ceremony took place at the historic at Marylebone Town Hall. This beautiful Grade II listed building is the home of wedding ceremonies in London, with Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher, Sean Bean and more tying the knot there. Now we can add Alina and Adel to the Marylebone Town Hall Wedding list 😁.

The celebrations continued at The Elgin pub in Notting Hill. Guests enjoyed drinks in the bar and outside in the sun, before heading upstairs for food, drink, speeches and one heck of a party! Alina and Adel both have children from previous relationships, who are now fine young adults.  It was so lovely to see how close the 4 of them are as a family unit, from morning hugs to late night dance moves together.

Later in the evening as I ventured towards my Uber, I spotted Alina and Adel chatting together outside the pub. It’s these unposed intimate moments I love to capture…I snuck a couple of frames (the last in the set below) before heading home.
