Beeston Manor Wedding: Rob + Maddie
“We couldn’t be happier with all the photos and are currently enjoying showing them off with your family and friends”
After far too much time spent updating my website, I’m finally back to blogging weddings! I can’t believe it has been nearly 2 years since I shot Rob + Maddie’s wedding at Beeston Manor in Lancashire!
Rob and Maddie are the nicest people, and just wanted to have a relaxed, fun day with friends and family, I was able to do my thing and document it unobtrusively. The party really came into it’s own in the evening. These guys know how to have a good time (as you can see from the photos), and going through them again made me realise how much I miss capturing (and being part of), these moments. I stayed until the end of the night and witnessed (among other things!) horse rides, dancing snowmen, peaky blinders and lapdances!
As you can imagine, the current 2020 climate has prevented me from shooting many weddings. However I have been busy documenting family life and just a few weeks ago I visited Rob, Maddie and their very new addition, Orla for a shoot. It was so lovely to see the guys again and capture some relaxed images of the three of them together, something I think is more important than ever in these times. I’ll blog some images from the family shoot on my sister site documentaryportraits.com in the future, but below some of my favourite frames from one heck of a wedding in 2018!
