Dunscar Farm Wedding – Susie and Kyle

“We love them!”

Susie and Kyles’s Dunscar Farm wedding was such an amazing day. I truly bespoke wedding, with family members and friends involved in everything from conducting the ceremony to playing the music!

Duncscar Farm is a Farm and Bed and breakfast in Castleton, the Peak District. Dating back to 1700, it’s an historic site seated in an area famed worldwide for its beauty. I started capturing the day just before the ceremony. With Mam Tor in the background, it was one of the most beautiful outdoor ceremony settings I have witnessed! As well as the natural beauty of the surroundings, the ceremony was one of the most unique I’ve photographed. With gusts on hay bales and a family member as celebrant, Susie and Kyle had given 3 friends coins, and during the ceremony, they tossed the coins to decide which surname Kyle and Susie would take!

An afternoon soaking up the (usually rare), Peak District sunshine saw local ales flowing and welly wanging in full swing. I documented all the moments

, big and small, capturing the story of the day. Later, guests headed into the marquee for speeches and amazing Nepali street food from Hungry Buddha.

Partying in the evening was kicked off with an awesome set by 5 Dollar Shakes. With a huge party atmosphere in the Derbyshire hills! At the end of the night, Suse, Kyle and their guests donned their head torches. Sparklers were lit and through the tunnel of light, Kyle and Susue led all their guests on a walk back home to their accommodation in Castleton
