“The tears, the laughter and the love that we felt on the day, was felt all over again. I never knew photographs could have that effect, it captured our day perfectly….They are amazing! On the day we hardly knew you were there, yet you got so many beautiful shots of us with our family and friends and they loved them too.”
I recently caught up with Gemma and Graham when they nipped across to my office. It was great to chat with the guys about what they’ve been up to since their wedding at Heaton House Farm and hear how they re-live the day via the photos – and thats the reason I shoot the way I do, to capture the memories!
With both Gemma and Graham getting ready for the wedding at Heaton House Farm, I was able to shoot them independently before the ceremony. Gemma’s room was bustling with excitement as she started the day surrounded by her bridesmaids, flowergirls and pageboys whilst Graham and the boys enjoyed a special tipple from the Lake District before getting suited and booted.
A wet day luckily brightened up to allow the children (and adults) to enjoy the games box that Gemma had put together, putting her skills as a teacher to good use to keep the kids entertained, and provided a brilliantly dramatic skyline for some outdoor shots 🙂
Gemma and Graham are an amazing couple, and it was great to get to know them and their friends/family. Huge thanks for having me along guys….some of my favourite images below.
