“They are just brilliant”
Joanna and George’s wedding at Plas Isaf in Corwen started like a disney movie. The Welsh sun was shining, the birds were singing outside. A small robin flys in though the open window, and chirps merrily. Then promptly chooses to poop on the wedding dress! The way Joanna tells me the story of the robin and the dress (this happened just before I arrived) whilst laughing away, embodies the couples laid back attitude to the day. A day that was filled with fun and laughter.
Joanna and George are probably one of the smiliest couples I’ve had the pleasure of documenting the wedding of, both beaming from ear to ear – and exchanging kissing at every opportunity. It was an absolute pleasure to capture their Plas Isaf Wedding. Some of my favourite images below…
Blue Swedes ‘Hooked on a feeling’ (also know as “ooga chaka”) was the song Joanna came down the aisle to. One of my favourite bridal entrance songs ever!
Photographers reading this may wonder how I managed to shoot the ceremony from two different locations (I shoot alone). Remote shooting with the Fuji XT1 is a wonder, and allowed me to get shots from the balcony via by iphone whilst simultaneously shooting the ceremony at ground level, some futuristic technology from Fuji!
Jo dispensed with wedding shoes for the ceremony – comfort takes priority….but George was on hand to help out before everyone headed outside for the reception.
Brilliant stuff Adam….especially the three bridesmaids yelping at the newlyweds…..fantastic!
Cheers Mick 🙂
Just thought I’d say yes, Jo and George are great at smiling, Adam, but the shot you took of the bride and groom with outstretched arms to the bridesmaids was the best I have ever seen of this subject. Thank you for a job well done Adam.
