In May of this year Rob and Estelle tied the knot at the beautiful Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire. This was my first Capesthorne Hall Wedding, despite this stunning venue being only 10 minutes from my home. However I was back for a second second wedding a few weeks later.

The stately rooms at Capesthorne Hall provided a wonderful backdrop to capturing the days events, with the large portraits and busts providing interesting opportunities for my documentary style. With the sun shining on the day, guests were also able to enjoy the manicured grounds as they mingled with their drinks and canapés. In fact, the venue was utilised to maximum effect with the speeches taking place on the extremely impressive grand staircase, no problem with being able to see the speakers at this wedding! It was during the speeches that Estelle was surprised with their honeymoon destination, the happy couple would enviably be jetting off to the Maldives to celebrate in luxury – my wife was particularly jealous 🙂

Both Rob and Estelle were extremely busy leading up to the wedding, with demanding jobs being juggled with wedding plans and the buying of a new home to start their married life! Fortunately both mums were on hand to help with the wedding details and relieve some of the pressure on this busy couple. Elegant and refined are definitely the words that spring to mind when describing the day, particularly with the men dressed in black tie. Although perhaps less elegant towards the end of the day as the dancing got underway 😉 The end result of all this hard work was a wonderful day enjoyed by all. Relaxed and grinning from ear to ear throughout, Rob and Estelle were finally able to unwind and enjoy their day…and with their honeymoon to follow hopefully new levels of relaxation were discovered!
