Eden Barn Wedding : Beth and Sinead

When I first met Beth and Sinead in my office before their 2019 Eden Barn wedding, I knew it was going to be an amazing day. Such a relaxed couple, they wanted a good party with all their family and friends, and it’s exactly what they got!

Both Beth and Sinead got ready in separate rooms at a nearby hotel, allowing me to dash between the two to capture the complete morning story. The wedding party then jumped on awaiting double decker bus to the venue from their hotel. This was my first visit to Eden Barn, set in the upper Eden Valley of Cumbria and surround by beautiful countryside, it looked stunning . The ceremony took place in the barn, filled with love and laughter, it was perfect. Then everyone headed outside to the glorious weather for drinks and the start of party celebrations. Later, guest were surprised by the arrival on an ice cream truck. I had to try the sticky toffee flavour (perks of the job!) and was not disappointed!

As always, I wanted to capture the emption of the day, but also the unseen moments that I spotted as I watched the day unfold with my M10. It’s looking for these moments that keep me loving shooting weddings these past 10 years, producing a story that is unique to the couple and their day.
