 One of the first ever weddings I photographed was at the Midland Hotel in Manchester City Centre and seems like a lifetime ago! So I was excited to be coming back this summer, to capture the day for Lauren and Trevor.

As I live just on the outskirts of Manchester, being a Midland Hotel Wedding Photographer is just a short hop in the car for me. Based in the heart of Manchester, The Midland Hotel Manchester is a grade II listed building, built in 1903. Lauren and Trevor were getting ready for the day in different rooms at the Midland, and this meant I could nip between the two and get some shots of their respective preparations for the big day! A short journey down the amazing staircase, and the wedding ceremony  took place in the spectacular Stanley Room, lit beautifully by candlelight.

Lauren and Trevor walked down the aisle as man and wife to the Foo Fighters, it because clear that they are both big music fans – Trevor used to be in a band, and the Rock group playing in the evening had everyone playing air guitar!   A few of my favourite images from the awesome day are below 🙂
