Pennard House Wedding : Char + Rob
“Trying to pick our favourites is impossible (which is awesome)”
In the summer I fulfilled an ambition and headed to Glastonbury! Unfortunately I was a month late so missed getting covered in mud, drinking too much beer and dancing away to Coldplay, Muse, Foals et al.
Fortunately, just a few miles down the road at the stunning Pennard House, the fabulous Char and Rob were getting hitched – and I was on hand to capture it 🙂
Char and the girls started the morning in Wells, where hair and makeup took place overlooking the bustling Saturday Market of England’s smallest city. We then all headed to Pennard House where preparations continue for the girls.
Not a drop of rain in sight, the beautiful ceremony took place outside at the garden Pavilion, with Char looking stunning as she made here way from the house proceeded by her bridesmaids. Drinks and canapés on the lawn, before the mum’s commenced proceedings with the smashing of the piñata!
The smashing continued as Rob and Char did the most fun ‘cake cutting’ I’ve witness. One lovely pavlova and a baseball bat for Char = lots of cream and meringue flying towards Rob!
In the evening the dancefloor got crazy and filled with the green and pink glow of glow sticks! A couple totally in love and full of fun, it was an absolute pleasure to visit Somerset to document the day for Rob and Char. Some of my favourite storytelling images below.
Natural and beautiful pictures Adam!
Thanks Erik!
