The Great House at Sonning Wedding : Lisa and Pete

 

“We don’t even know what to say…the pictures are epic and not only capture the day we remember but also show what our family and friends enjoyed and experienced with us!”

When shooting a wedding, my aim is to tell the story of the day, capturing all the key moments. The first kiss, first dance, speeches. I always look for emotion, moment and light, the three fundamentals in photography. I love capturing these memorable moments. However, often my favourite images are things I see between the normal wedding day milestones. Unexpected images. This is where my love for street photography comes in and  I take my images not just for the Bride and Groom, but for myself too.

 

Lisa and Pete’s wedding at the Great House in Sonning reflected the couple. Super chilled and full of fun. With so much going on, I was in wedding street photography heaven, and came away with some street style shots that reflected the fun personalities of the wedding guests. A few months ago I was contacted by Italian Street Photography Magazine and they asked to feature some of my wedding images…Lisa and Pete’s images have now featured in an Italian street photography magazine, a corresponding book and have been live streamed across the world as part of a street photography talk!

 

The photos below show what an amazing day it was. Topped off by an unexpected fireworks show! No one know who’s it was, but at 11pm a spectacular show suddenly filled the sky overlooking the venue.

 

I shot until the party ended at 1am, after one heck of a party filled with 80’s power ballads, love it! As alway, some of my favourite unposed storytelling images below. #iDontStageMoments
