Tithe Barn wedding Photographer
When Stuart first met Helen on a night out, he gave her the thumbs up and congratulated her on being so pretty…they have been together ever since! (Thanks to the best man for this story during the speeches!). The love between Stuart and Helen was obvious for all to see, and the ‘thumbs up’ was a running theme that I noticed whilst documenting the day.
My coverage started with Helen preparing for the big day at a lovely cottage in Waddington, just around the corner from the aptly named St Helen’s Church where the ceremony was held. It was an lovely ceremony, with an eager Stuart and Helen kissed too early and were lightheartedly scolded by the vicar!
After the beautiful ceremony, it was off to Browsholme hall and the stunning Tithe Barn. This was my first time as a Tithe Barn wedding photographer, a great venue in the heart of Lancashire. It was mid May and the weather was amazing – all the guests enjoying the sunshine, most of them attempting some acrobatics on the bouncy castle! (Yes, I did have a little go whilst the wedding breakfast was being served, I posted a picture to my twitter page too).
Helen and Stuart had spent a lot of time planning the reception which included handmade cake toppers by Helen and a vast array of teacups and saucers collected from many visits to antique shops – all the hard work paid off as Tithe Barn looked stunning.
The guests enjoyed the last of the days sun before the party started…when I left Helen was wearing a Freddy Mercury style tash and was bopping away to Queen!
A video slideshow with more images can be found on my facebook page, family and friends can view all the images from the day here. Please feel free to leave a comment…
